This friendly Club, with a membership of approximately 60, is actively seeking new members and to assist in this respect is setting aside 3 Rinks every Thursday in June between 5pm and 7.30pm for anyone aged 12 or over interested in trying their hand, It will be found to be a fascinating, healthy but not over energetic pastime. Dress will be casual, a selection of bowls will be provided, members will be available to offer advice and there will be no charge. All that is asked is that heel-less footwear be worn. At the end of June, those wishing to join will be able to apply for membership at a reduced Subscription for the remainder of the season. They will also enjoy without charge tuition from the Club's two County Qualified Instructors. Additional benefits of membership are the social events held throughout the year and weekly Whist Drives during the close season.
