The Headcorn Footpaths Group is a group of people who believe in the maintenance of the local footpaths in and around Headcorn. They meet, usually on the first Sunday of each month, with an individual member leading the group. The annual membership fee is just £1.

The new 2011 programme is below. All walks are on Sundays and start at the War Memorial:

August 7th - Boy Court, start 2.30pm approx 3.5 miles.

September 4th - Pluckley/Little Chart Start at 10.30am, approx 4 miles

October 2nd - Sheldwich start at 10.30am, pub lunch, approx 5 miles

November 6th - Hawkenbury start at 10.30am, include lunch break at The Hawkenbury, approx 4 miles

December 4th - great Tong start 10.30am approx 3.5 miles.

Boxing Day - start at 2.00pm, Brook Wood, approx 3 miles.

January 1st - Tea Walk, start 2.30pm approx 2.5 miles, bring some items for tea afterwards.

February 5th - Doddongton start 10.30am approx 4 miles followe by lunch.

March 4th - Rye Harbour, start 10.30am approx 6 miles followed by fish & chip lunch.

April 1st - Small Hythe, start 10.30am, bring picnic, approx 5.5 miles

May 6th = King's Wood, Molash (bluebells), start 10.30am approx 4 miles.

June 3rd - Cranbrook, start 2.30pm aprox 5 miles.

July 1st - Sissinghurst Castle, start 10.30am, approc 3 miles.
