History Society

                          

Headcorn Local History Society has been in existence since 1959. It has a membership of around 80. It meets on the last Wednesday of each month from September to June, excepting December at 8:00pm in the Methodists School Room. The winter meetings have a mixture of visiting speakers, members own talks and other entertainment's. In the summer months historical visits are organised in the local area.

Leslie Daniels, our secretary since 1962 sadly passed away on 24th August 2009. He will be sadly missed by our society and the people of Headcorn.
